Job Description
Operate oxy-acetylene or LPG gas cutting equipment to cut metal scrap into required sizes
Dismantle large metal structures, machinery, and scrap materials
Ensure proper handling and storage of gas cylinders and cutting tools
Follow cutting plans, instructions, and safety guidelines
Inspect materials before cutting to identify hazards (e.g., sealed containers, hazardous residues)
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Assist in loading and unloading materials when required
Report equipment faults, safety issues, or incidents to the supervisor
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and PPE requirements
